Catastrophic Injury Management

IME Cordination

On difficult cases there are times a need to clarify a diagnosis and treatment plan. M Hayes medical consultant’s can help you with these cases by identifying board certified specialist who can assess the claim from their area of expertise, and render an opinion as to return to work options, length of disability, extend of disability and anticipated maximum medical improvement. Through our best in class medical services consultants we can assist in p roviding valuable and accurate clinical information to resolve difficult claims.

Physician Consultation

When a case does not seem to be progressing medically we offer a face to face consultation with the physician with our highly trained and clinically experience medical consultants. Our medical consultants will clarify with the physician why the case is not progressing as it should and within minutes of that consultation provide you with a verbal report of the physician consultation and make recommendations to place the case on track clinically.

Vocational Case Management

At M Hayes our vocational consultants hold Master’s degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field and must have or obtain advanced credentials such as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Case Manager, Certified Disability Management Specialist or a Certified Vocational Evaluator.

Vocational Assessments

The purpose of a vocational assessment is to determine the residual employability of an individual who has a disability. Our highly qualified vocational consultants can provide you with a detailed report outlining the transferable skills and employment options on those difficult cases where an employee is unable to return to a job of injury.

Job Analysis

M Hayes vocational consultants are able to perform on-site job analyses to ascertain the all aspects of a job to include skills required to provide to the customer an accurate and detailed analysis of any position in the economy. The complete report allows an employer to have a record of each position perform, or can be viewed by a physician to determine if an employee with a disability is able to perform a position.

Resume Preparation

When a person with a disability is unable to return to a job and is in need of finding another one our trained vocational consultants are able to work with the employee to construct an effective resume to assist with a job search. The resume is tailored to the employee and to targeted jobs. M Hayes will provide both written and electronic copies of the resume to the employee.

Return to Work Programs

At M Hayes we recognize high claims cost can be mitigated with an effective and well-defined return to work program. We work with employers and employees to identify jobs that allow employees with disabilities to safely return to work. The primary focus of our vocational case management services in the successful re-entry of the employee to the workplace resulting in significant cost savings.

Job Seeking Skills Training

When a person with a disability is unable to return to a job and is in need of finding another one our trained vocational consultants are able to work with the employee to construct an effective resume to assist with a job search. The resume is tailored to the employee and to targeted jobs. M Hayes will provide both written and electronic copies of the resume to the employee.

Job Placement

Placing the employee who has a claim for disability is the primary focus of the vocational rehabilitation process. Our experienced vocational consultants have vast knowledge of the local labor markets. They provide to the job seeker job leads that are consistent with the employee’s education, skill level, physical and mental capabilities. Job search records are maintained by the employee and monitored by our vocational consultant to verify an earnest job seeking effort.
